Inkscape Chronicles
A Canvas and Quill Magazine
Welcome to our very first issue of the Canvas and Quill Magazine! You may be dwelling into uncharted territory, getting lost in the overwhelming sights of the requirements, but don’t fear, we want you to get lost in our creation. Inkscape Chronicles is a sanctuary for words that linger and art that breathes. Within these pages, stories unfold like whispered secrets and brushstrokes bleed into the margins of imagination. We gather voices bold and tender, weaving poetry, prose, and visual wonder into a tapestry of raw emotion and quiet brilliance.
Let each turn of the page carry you through the fleeting reveries on this new beginning, on the untold truths, and the quiet pulse of creativity. This is more than a collection—it’s an awakening.
Write boldly. Create freely. Chronicle endlessly.

What are we looking for?
Well, we are looking for daydreamers whose solace is found painting forests at the edge of a lake; writers scribbling ideas into parchment late into the night; sculptors who fall in love with the sculpture of the beautiful man they wanted to give life to; the songwriters whose lyrics hit way too close to home. We are looking high and wide for new emerging voices in art, poetry, prose, photography, any story that catches us in a state of daydreaming, that will lead us to a new beginning.
THEME: A Reverie of Solstice.
